One Station Hill
A virtual model for coordinated, interactive engagement
BRIEF
Lincoln Property Group wanted to explore a more modern approach to visual engagement for the marketing and leasing of its new vibrant and energetic development in Reading.
Following a detailed review of our coordinated production process and scalable media activation options, we were commissioned to produce a fully interactive model of One Station Hill.
This would allow us to produce a range of interactive media and experiences for the marketing of this development.
Approach
The first stage in the process was to develop a detailed series of model environments of the main office building and surrounding site including the nearby Reading Station. Of key importance was the accuracy of the landscaping for the exterior areas and the views from the upper floors looking out across the locale.
To ensure an authentic representation across all media outputs, we integrated high-resolution 360 drone photography corresponding to each floor level in the building.
From the earliest iterations of the interactive model, collaborative design reviews were carried out with the client’s construction, marketing and interior design teams.
Outcome
The virtual model was used as the basis for 70 different traditional CGI views and 30 immersive 360° CGI views. These have been used across all marketing and digital campaigns, including integrations of the interactive views throughout the website.
Additionally, to enable the development team and leasing agents to take full advantage of the interactive model, we were able to provide access via our Streamline service. This method of deployment offers access to anyone through a standard PC web browser, where a link is provided to enable the model to be accessed via the cloud.
The next stage of the project will address a wider range of engagement activation formats and provide an impressive experiential virtual tour facility that includes immersive virtual experiences and an integrated sales and marketing application.
